You can extend and personalise your encyclopedia by adding pictures.  Just find the folder where you have saved your images, or images from the internet, and choose the one you want.

Growing Plants will automatically add your image into the database and also create a little thumbnail of your image which is added to the other thumbnails.

Your images are saved in a file that is on your hard disk.  (The encyclopedia has the capability for you to add many thousands of your own pictures and records to the encyclopedia, if you wanted to.  It would also be easy to make backup safety copies of the pictures and text that you have added.)

In addition to 'add picture' there are also other functions for picture management including....

      Deleting pictures

      Hiding pictures (but keeping them)

      Revealing hidden pictures

      Copying pictures to the clipboard

You can use pictures from Growing Plants for your personal use, for example by pasting them into a word processor.

Just about everything can be done with one or two clicks of the mouse !
